Vocabulary.
----------------------------------
The vocabulary of Droidz, Some words you may know, Some never heard of. Here goes. (Pots if some need added or I mis-spelled or got the wrong meaning of a word.)
Commonly Used Words.
-Spam:
2 or 3 word posts and Off-topic posts go under spam. Spam is an unnessasery post really.
-Collab:
Collab is short for Collaberation. Theres a section for them. A collaberation is were one animator decideds to make a collaberation, They set a theme, Frame dimensions, Minimum Rank and how many frames it needs to be.
-Joint:
Well, A joint on here, Is where 2 or more animators, Animate the same animation.. Wait, That makes no sence. Basicly, One animator does say.. 100 frames, Then sends it to another animator. Then they do a certain ammount of frames, 'Till they're happy with what they've done.
-Rank:
Your rank is well, Your rank at animating. When you hit Intermediate, You get to go the the Regular section.
-Pivot War:
A Pivot War, Or PW Is where 2 animators are agaisnt each other, To see who can make the better animation. They both make animations of their "sig" beating up the other persons "sig" You add a poll to see who wins.
-Courtesy:
Courtesy is.. When one animator gives another Animator "CC" or good advice, And asks for Courtesy. Courtesy can be given or not wether the animator wants to.. Or just think its not a good comment.
-Sig:
Sig can mean Signature. Wich is the part below just were the text is when you make a post. Or, Signature stick. Wich is the stick you use the most.
-Default:
The Default is usually the Pivot 2.2.5 Default stick (the one that comes up when you go on Pivot)
-Flashed:
When an animation is "Flashed" This usually means, It has been Imported to Macromedia Flash and been saved as a .swf
-Bump:
A bump is where a old thread has been posted on. This can get you warned.
-"CC":
CC or, Constructive Critasism, Is advice really. Helping to help you get the higher rank.
-Flaming:
Flaming is directly "shouting" or making bad posts about someone, Swearing, Name-Calling.. These can get you flame warnings. If you get flamed, Contact a Moderator (list at top)
-Bot:
A bot is well, A computor programme (I think) We get these every so often. They come to Droidz to try and advertise. Best part of them are pr0n. Just don't comment on these.
-Poll:
A Poll is what keep track of Votes on a thread. Poll Options are at the bottom of a thread.

Other Words.
-Indeed:
Means to agree, Or yes >_>
-Phail or Epic Phail:
Something that wasn't worth wasting your time really. Or something has been done very badly..
-"Pwn":
To be "Pwnd" Means beaten, Or "owned", Alot.
This bit needs alot added to. Help would be apreciated muchly.
How to make a good post.
Well, Try and use proper english nd nt to spek liek thas doode,
Its alot easyer to read and makes posts look kul. Stuff that we all know has been shortened for eg, "u" "r" stuff like that, Go for it.. Use that, But try and not get too caried away. Try and use commas and/or fullstops, Or space out your writing with lines. Make it easyer for the people to read, Get me?
Don't make 2-3 word posts, This is called spam. Witch can get you warned.
Another thing. If you don't get the rank you wanted on your thread of animations, Don't go of flaming that person. Take it, You came here to improve right? Take the CC.

Threads/Posts and Ecetera

Posting.
Posting. The most common thing you will do on Droidz, Now. To make a post, Go on the thread you want to post on. And hit this button:
Then, Type your message, Try to make it more then 2-3 words. Then go near the bottom and hit submit. Hit Submit ONCE this will leave you making 1 post. If you do double post, Don't worry. You might just get a warning. Or nothing <_<. If you do make a double post, Keep reading to find out how to solve your problem.
Making Threads
When making a thread, You must! make sure your posting in the correct section. If your posting an animation, Post in the Novice section. If showing of one of your sticks, Post in the Stick showoff section, Get it?
Once you've got the right section, Hit this button:
Its near the top left hand corner. Not to hard to miss.
Now, Make your topic name, Type it in this bar:
And type in the big box below. If its a Animation thread, Post the .gif's with Tags. If you don't allready know how to use these, Better brush up on your BBCode.
Once your set out to create your thread, Go to the bottom of the page and hit Submit ONCE It may not load fast, But just hit it once, This can lead to Double Threading. Its not your fault, But try and avoid it at all costs >_> If you do make a double thread, I will explain how to delete that thread lower down..
Quoting Posts.
Well, Quoting is very easy.. When you know how to do it.

Editing Posts.
Editing a post. You should do this if you..:
-Need to update
-Fucked up your BBCode
-Made a bad spelling error
-And other shit, You can Edit any of your posts.
Also, If you have a Animation/Stick thread, You should Edit the first post with all of your Sticks/Animations.
The Edit button looks like this:
NOTE: Moderators and Administrators have the power to edit or delete your posts, So if one of your threads have dissapeared or a post of yours has been edited, Don't be alarmed! Just a Mod/Admin.
Deleting Posts/Threads.
We'll do Deleting posts first.
Deleting posts can be handy, If you:
-Double post.
-Posted in the wrong thread.
If you do double post, Make sure you delete the 2nd post as quick as you can. If you get a comment after you, You can no longer delete your post. The delete post button looks like this:
Then just click yes, Wait 'till it loads. And BAM! You just deleted your post.
Now for deleting Threads.
You may want to delete your thread if you..:
-Double Threaded.
-Found it pointless.
Ok, Now. You have to be fast acting with deleting threads, If the thread you want to delete, Gets commented on. Your fooked. Anyway, To delete your thread, Just delete the first post. Easy as that really, Says^^ there how to delete posts.
Reporting Posts/Threads.
Reporting is basicly you informing a mod if a thread needs locked, Warning/s need to be given.. Ect.
To report a thread press this button here
on the very first post, Then put the category, And give your reason (optional)To report a post, Just do the same as^ But for the post.
Find the post that needs reporting, Press this button
give category and a description (optional)----------------------------------
Pivot.

Saving .Gif's
Its pretty basic really, Just need to remember it. First go to save you animation, And there should be a little rectangle near the bottom, Change this to .gif, Like so.
Once you've changed this option, Give it a name and save it. Once you hit save a box should Pop-Up change the options so they look like this:
Pivot 2.2.5
Pivot 3 Beta
I don't use Pivot 3 So Idk the stuff to put in for .gif, Piv3 users. Help!
Then wait for this bar:
To finnish loading. And thats it! You have your .gif in the folder you saved it in.
NOTE: You need more then 1 frame to save as a .gif
Uploading .Gif's
Once you have your .gif (How to save is above^^) Go to TinyPic wich is a Image Hosting website, And hit the button that says "Choose" on here:
Then select your file, And hit open. Then hit the big Green button that says:
Then you should get 5 Options, If you want it like a picture in your post, Use the circled one (copy and paste it to your thread):
If you just want the link, Its the 4th one on the pic above. And you have your .gif ready for postage.
Getting/Finding sticks
Ok, For sticks.. The main place is, Droidz Then you click stk's. Or if your a lazy so and so, Click Here.
Ok, On the droidz page to veiw a stick without downloading it, Press this button
(to the left of the name) Click the name to download. Once you've downloaded your stick should be somewhere in My Documents. Now, Go onto Pivot press File>>Load Figure Type
Then find your stick, And double click it. Or press once and hit open.
You may get a message saying.. "This stick is not compatible with this version"
This means you are using Pivot2.2.5 and its a Pivot 3 Beta stick you are trying to open.
If you have recived a stick from someone over MSN Or something like that, Your stick will or should, Be in
My Documents>>My Recived Files.

User Control Panel.

Your User Control Panel is well.. Your "area" kind of. It keeps all of your Private messages, Bookmarked thread, Files ect ect.
