First off, I want to thank my tutor, xCatnip for all the help he has provided.
Effects!
First effect. Pretty simple, but I've seen many of these totally screwed up.
Curved Spikes.
We will be attempting to make sticks like this:
Spikes included.
Alright. Step one. Chooses the surface you want to add the spike too. I chose this close-up view of my sig's leg.

Next, you want to add a segment the same size coming off the area you chose.
http://www.pivothost.org/upload/v2/spik ... c3p96a.bmp
Again, you will add another segment, but this time make it one size smaller thanthe last segment, and curve it.

Continue doing this until you get a nice looknig spike.

You should finish with something like this:
Yes, this is a smaller version of what I just showed you.
Also, you don't have to maket he stick this long. You can make it as long as you want. And, now you've made a spike!
Armor: Legs Part One
Bert style sticks. Very popular these days. Here, I'll show you the basics of making one, my way.
First, start with a line coming out of the back of the leg.

Next, add a long segment coming up the back of the leg.

Now, do the same thing with the front of the leg. I prefer my line to be lower than the back one.

Add another segment going up the front, and you're done with this leg!

This should be the result:
(Large version)
Indentions in the Armor
You think it's too simple, eh? Well, try this.
Adding indentions in the armor is actually quite easy. I'll edit the stick we just made to show you.
Ok, so once again, start with the segment coming out of the back (or front)

Here's where it changes. Copy that stick where the longer stick would be.

Copy it again! This time, make the thickness 0.

To finish it off, add another line long enough to fit.

It should look like this:
Bubble Style Leg Armor
Pretty much you just make an oval around your legs.

End it with placing it around the top of the knee, and fill the holes.
