UPDATE: good jump and my first run loop (ADVICE?)

hello every1 im new to droidz... somewhat new to pivot... not sure what rank i am yet.. but if you could tell me that would be greatly appreciated, I know I only have about 6 animations up but dont worry many more will be coming. no rude comments please. But some advice is always usefull. Enjoy the pivots.

Well

the main problems are , easing and choppyness .

Do you know what easing is?

Easing is about acceleration and decelleration of movements, you know, if something moves, it doesn´t suddenly start, it builds speed up.

you spaced like that:

---------/------------/---------/-------/----/---/----------/
the / are the frames and the - are the pixles you moved.
ease like that:
/-/--/---/------/-------------/------/---/--/-/

you start with moving the object 1 pixel, then 2 , then 3 and then multiply it by 2 everytime.

the choppyness will be fixed with that.
also, put your FRAMERATE up to 20.

I think for your level (low-med beg) it had pretty good physics, but it was a kind of pointless animation. Otherwise it was cool and fun to watch. Make a real anim with stick figures and stuff now.

nice animation like the top one but there is somthing rong when hes completely upside down maybe hes not moving enough id say med or high beg cant pick cos theres only two and there short but dude dont worry my anis are short too if you make more i can give you a more precise rank advice is work on easing and moving the joints more activly also sorry for the lateness of this message i couldnt return courtz cos my homework waz pilein up lol any way nice work keep it up love the camera moving thing iv never been able to pull that trick of.

I think that anim was pretty good. As always, you have great physics for a beginner, but it was just a little bit shaky. Now, make a fight scene!

Also, don't put your animations as an attatchment. Use the img button. Click it, put your anim in between the img tags.

nice i like the way the stick lands and bounces medish beg but work on the move ment of the joints especialy on the ball one i likes them all but that one when the dude lands on the platform his legs dont bend properly also are they put in the order you made em just asking

That was really good. And I'm glad to see a beginner with not much stiffness. All that was wrong with that new one was foot placement, and definately shakiness. So, work on that. Look at some tutorials about smoothness aswell. It helps a lot. I looked at A LOT of them when I was about your rank.
